This course was developed to assist all persons involved in Community Association Elections. The course also will aid in understanding and implementing the mandated requirements in holding an annual election of directors. A board of directors is sometimes referred to as the board of administration. As an educational tool for licensed community association managers, this course has been approved by the Community Association Managers CAM Council for continuing education credit and has a value of 4 credits, in the area of “other”, as directly related to the management or administration of community associations as outlined in a bulletin available from the CAM Council. It is imperative that Licensed Community Association Managers and Associations refer to the language found in the Condominium and Cooperative Acts, the Florida Administrative Code Rules and any requirements in the Associations documents prior to the beginning of the election process. The current statutory and rule language pertaining to condominium and cooperative elections have been included for you in this correspondence course.
